I co-founded MEDUSA with Emily Walters in 2019.
We are a digital feminist platform that explores the intersection between the arts and social activism. We create, experiment and provoke, providing early-career creatives and journalists with a digital space to share their work. Through our multimedia approach, we aim to spread awareness around feminism and the power of art to enact social change.
We publish bi-monthly articles and regular social content. We also present and facilitate a programme of peer-led educational seminars and co-working sessions, covering topics such as Decolonising Museums Spaces and Myths of Femininity. Finally, we undertake commissions, such as the recent educational talk and resource pack we created for Durham University on ‘Unlikely Icons’.
